As you may have noticed by now, we at Coffee Hound have decided to introduce a new loyalty program with greater rewards. Although there were many options for this upgrade, we felt the program that would serve both us and our customers best was the LoyalTree smartphone app, available from iTunes and Google Play.  Now, many of our loyal Hounders have already downloaded the app, and some have already enjoyed their first rewards, but for those who have not done so yet, here is what you need to know!

If you have been to one of our locations before, you are likely familiar with our punch cards. You buy 10 drinks. You get one free. But what if every day you bought a pastry with your drink? Or what if you wanted to take a bag of whole bean home with you? Why shouldn’t you be rewarded for those purchases too? Or be able to choose a baked good or a special Coffee Hound mug as a reward if you wished?

Well, now, using the LoyalTree app, these restrictions are no more!

But how does LoyalTree work? Well, it’s simple:

• Download the LoyalTree app to your iPhone or Android.
• Receive a QR code on your receipt with each purchase.
• Scan your QR code using your smartphone.
• Earn 5 points per dollar you spend on ANY item.
• Save up your points.
• Then redeem them for one of several great reward options.

But what if you don’t have an iPhone or Android?

Although an official date is not yet in place, we are working hard with our partners at LoyalTree to get a non-smartphone option up and running.
