Are you looking to serve the perfect dessert for after Thanksgiving dinner this year? Well, how about a delicious three-nut cranberry pie?

To make you own, just follow along with the video and the instructions below.

First, you will add a ½ cup of walnuts, a ½ cup of pecans, and a ½ cup of almonds to your medium-sized mixing bowl, followed by a ¾ cup of brown sugar, 3 eggs, a ¼ teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and a ¼ cup cup plus 2 tablespoons of butter. Then you will add 2 tablespoons of molasses and a ½ cup of corn syrup.

Once the ingredients are in your mixing bowl, you will then mix them with your rubber spatula, making sure everything is very nicely coated. Then, when it looks like everything is evenly mixed in, this is when you will mix in your 1 ½ cups of fresh or frozen cranberries, gently folding them as if you were making a meringue or macaroons.

After your cranberries are nicely coated, you will take your pie shell, sitting on a sheet tray, and dump your mix into the pie shell before gently spreading it out, making sure no side has more nuts or cranberries than the other.

Prior to putting it in the oven, you will spray down a piece of aluminum foil very lightly and put it over the top of your pie to prevent your cranberries from getting too dark while baking.

Once your pie is covered with aluminum foil, you will then put it in oven for 35 minutes with the foil on top, then bake it for 10 minutes without the foil.

After the pie is completely done, it should appear to be a nice golden brown and will lightly jiggle if gently shaken.

Upon cooling, you will be able to cut your freshly baked three-nut cranberry pie into 8-10 pieces.

Yet, if you just don’t have the time to bake your own, you can also stop by one of our shops before November 23rd and our bakery will be glad to make one for you, or let you choose from one of our other fine options such as our apple tart, paleo pumpkin cake, or gluten-free cranberry orange bunt cake.
