Alright, let’s start with an introduction! What is your name and what do you do here at Coffee Hound?

My name is Haven Ryburn. I am a Senior Barista and the Manager of the Coffee Hound in Bloomington. I write schedules, order supplies, and do the chalk board art in the Bloomington store!

I haven been with Coffee Hound for a little over 2 years.

Why Coffee Hound? Why specialty coffee?

I always thought I would enjoy working in a coffee shop atmosphere. Since becoming a part of the Coffee Hound, I have had a lot of opportunities and have discovered a joy in coffee and its culture!

Have you found a favorite drink here at Coffee Hound?

Wait, a favorite drink to drink or a favorite drink to make? My favorite drink to make is the macchiato, but to drink, you can never go wrong with a 12 ounce Iced Latte! Ask for Super Milk!

I will certainly have to! What do you like to do in your free time outside of Coffee Hound?

I don’t know, I feel like I am always at work! I’m sort of a workaholic! When I’m not at Coffee Hound, I love to paint and draw! I am an artist so I am always working on some kind of commission or painting! I also teach painting classes!

Final question for you Haven. If you were to describe yourself as a Coffee Hound, what kind of Hound would you be?

I’m a coffee cat. A coffee, sphynx cat….in a sweater!
