This season we’re really excited about several new coffees we’re offering here at the Coffee Hound and Sirius Coffee Roasters.
Our Ethiopia Limmu, grown at about 1700m by small batch farmers, then natural processed, provides a wonderfully fruit-forward drink. When we talk about strawberries, blueberries, and chocolate, this is the epitome of strawberries, blueberries, and chocolate. This coffee is a true representation of a natural Ethiopia.
Additionally, we’ve also got two washed Ethiopias. One’s an Ethiopia Yirgacheffe from Chelelektu and has notes of peach, dark chocolate, lemon-lime, and maybe a little cherry in there as well. In sum, it’s pleasantly peach and true, with mild florals. Our other washed Ethiopia is an Ethiopia Yirgacheffe from the Aricha station with notes of green apple, cherry, peach and apricot and a little bit of a floral jasmine note in there too.
All three of these Ethiopias are fresh in-season coffees that anyone looking for a great Ethiopia can have some fun with.
Lastly, we also have an amazing organic Mexico Chiapas right now, grown in the mountains of that country’s southeastern-most corner. With notes of caramel, toffee, chocolate, and a nice little acidity, this coffee will just make you say I want another cup.
To try these and our other fine Summer coffees, please stop by one of our cafés or visit the Coffee Hound online store.
